New Lighting Range

The Lights are in development. I used poplar to start with as its easy to work with and has interesting colour and perspex which gives a cool white light. I have used low energy bulbs but there are many different possibilities.

The next ones will be in black walnut and glass. All are available in different sizes and materials with prices varying accordingly.

Furnish 2 at Paintworks in Bristol

This years Furnish 2 exhibition at the Paintworks in Bristol was a showcase of fourteen local furniture designer/makers. The gallery space was great and there was an interesting range of work on display, most of it available to buy or to commission. The private view was well attended.

I exhibited some prototypes of new lights that I have been working on recently as well as some of my black walnut furniture.

I want to make the lights in walnut and glass next and work on some related ideas so look out for next years Furnish 3 exhibition.
